Evening Talk by David Rose

Local historian David Rose has been collecting old picture postcards and vintage photographs of Guildford and its surrounding villages for nearly 50 years.

His illustrated talk will feature a wide selection of his favourite images with stories of how he acquired them, historic details of what can be seen in each one, and why they have spurned a parallel career from being a local journalist to producing local history books and giving hundreds of talks on the subject.
