Learn the traditional “ink wash” technique, a unique approach that sits between drawing and painting which is Eastern in origin. Use tone to create dramatic contrasts of light when working with ink. Students will produce studies in landscapes, still life or figures based on chosen reference photos.

Some experience of painting is required. A materials list will be provided.
