During the 10^th and 11^th Centuries, Cordoba was the greatest city in Europe, a centre for education, culture and science with a population of 100,000 and hundreds of mosques and libraries. It was also a meeting point for the three great European religions and the centre of international diplomacy.

This talk will look at this great city and its legacy – and its most famous building, the mosque/Cathedral The Mezquita.
