This course explores the collection of Russian decorative art at Dorich House Museum, Kingston University, which includes porcelain, silver, glass, lacquerware, and folk art. Between 2022 and 2024, Louise Hardiman was consultant to the museum to research and catalogue the objects. In this course she will discuss the collection, its broader contexts, and share some of the project outcomes.
This is a repeat of the December 2025 course.

About the Speaker
Dr Louise Hardiman
Dr Louise Hardiman specialises in Russian and Ukrainian art, the international Arts and Crafts movement, and the history of British-Russian cultural exchange. She is an independent consultant, writer, and lecturer, and her publications include an edited volume on British-Russian artistic relations and two books of translated Russian folk tales by the artist Elena Polenova.
