Containing many stirring stories of love, loss, heroism and sacrifice, along with some authentic ‘naughty’ jokes and songs from the period. But also raising a series of provocative questions.

You will come away with an increased understanding of the most celebrated year in British history, and a deep admiration for the men and women who rose to an unprecedented challenge as the future of the world hung in the balance.

We believe everyone should have access to educational and cultural opportunities, and that no one should be excluded because of their financial circumstances.
