Michelangelo and the Sistine Chapel (also online) – GI 26 195
Hailed as one of western art’s greatest and most heroic achievements, the sheer scale of Michelangelo’s vision, technical prowess and physical stamina are unrivalled. Battling both fresco technique and murky Vatican politics, we follow the development of the Sistine Ceiling to its glorious finale. This is a repeat course.

We study the Surrey suburb, also ground-breaking individual homes including Oliver Hill’s Joldwynds and Patrick Gwynne’s The Homewood.
